Are you ready to explore the
possibilities available to you during
the second half of life?
-
Do you have concerns
about how you'll manage the life
and lifestyle transitions that
retirement brings?
-
Do you wonder how you'll cope with the potential
challenges associated with
retirement, such as how you'll
disengage from work and how you'll
replace the feelings of
satisfaction, importance,
usefulness, companionship and
productivity that you obtained from
your work?
(Or maybe you don't feel ready to
retire yet and want to explore your
options for continuing to work in
some capacity...)
-
Have you considered how you'll cope when you and your
spouse or partner are together every
day? (Or, if you don’t have a spouse
or partner, are you worried about
feeling lonely and isolated in
retirement?)
-
Do you want to ensure that you'll remain healthy, fit and
living in your own home for as long
as you possibly can?
Well, you’re not alone!
And, even though there's still a great
deal left that you want to be, do and
have in life, all these questions
buzzing around your head can mean that:
-
You don't have a clear understanding
of your own retirement expectations,
the expectations of the other
important people in your life and how
to blend the two together
-
You may have still to come to terms
with both the positive and negative
aspects of retirement and getting
older
-
You struggle
to choose between the myriad of
options for filling your time in
retirement whilst still feeling
productive, useful and valued
and so
-
You’re concerned that you won’t get
the vital, healthy, prosperous,
productive and fulfilling life that
you really want and deserve to have
in retirement
Well, my
name is Ann Harrison and I can help you
with that!
You see, I'm a woman on a mission.
Basically, I want everyone to have the
happiest, healthiest retirement they could possibly
have, and, so, everything I do is geared
towards trouble-shooting
retirement-related problems (or,
preferably, helping you avoid them
altogether).
But,
first, let's just back up a little bit...
Let me ask you a question:
What do
Susan Sarandon, Bill Clinton, Cher,
Donald Trump, Sylvester Stallone,
Marianne Faithful,
Felicity Kendal and
Dolly Parton have in common?
And the answer is:
They're all over 60 years of age.
Can you
imagine any of them settling down to
a traditional retirement?
Can you imagine
any of them giving up their work
and putting themselves out to pasture?
Can you
imagine them just enjoying the
occasional game of golf or game of cards
with their friends at the over-60’s
club?
Me, neither! And that's because...
Retirement
is changing.
The type of
retirement
that their parents enjoyed is
no longer enough for
the baby boomer generation.
Today's retirees are
younger, richer, fitter, healthier and
better-educated than previous
generations of retirees.
They also
have much higher expectations.
And,
because they ARE younger, richer,
fitter, healthier, better-educated and
with higher expectations, many people
assume that
THEY won't have any problems with
retirement.
That retirement will be all plain
sailing.
That they won't need any help.
And then, a few months later, they find
themselves struggling. And almost
wishing they'd stayed on at work.
I bet you've seen it too...
They're reaching for
the remote control in the middle of the
afternoon because they don't have
anything better to do, or they're headed for
the divorce courts because they can't
stand to be around their partner 24/7.
Or it
seems as though their get-up-and-go
retired at around the same time they did
- they're sleeping later in the
mornings, napping every afternoon and
falling asleep in front of the TV in the
evenings!
Well, I don't want that to happen to you
(and I bet you don't either! Which
is probably why you're here reading this
today!)
The fact that you're here, researching
and taking an active interest means that
you're not leaving anything to chance.
So, where do you go from here?
Well, at the very least, don't forget to sign up for my free eCourse

The sign-up box is just up there - on
the right (scroll up a bit if you can't
see it!)
Just put your name and email address in

feel a little off track a few months
into your retirement, you'll be able to
identify which part of the process
you're in and have the comfort of
knowing that 'it's just a stage you're
going through'!
